People you leave behind, chapters you close, betrayals you forget, lies you forgive, the kindness you bestow, hearts you break, roads you travel; everything that you do for your peace of mind at one point in life comes back knocking on your door, like an uninvited guest one fine day, just like that. This may happen when you are sitting by yourself, or when you are on a date with God or when you are watching your favourite movie or wallowing in your sorrows or celebrating a life-changing moment.
It happens, not to make you regret anything, but to reiterate that every decision you had taken previously, has played a part in making you, who you are today. Every person you ever came across deserves a thank you, not because they necessarily played a constructive role in your life but, because by not doing so, just by giving you that experience they made you strong, they made you love yourself, they made sure that you depend on yourself only. As a result, everyone you had ever met helped you grow. So thank them not because they need it, forgive them not because they deserve it, do it only so that you can move on and prosper and continue to grow on the path of greatness.
Remember, forgiveness, healing and moving on (from any situation and/or anyone) is a truly messy business; and anyone who tries to tell you otherwise probably doesn’t understand your journey, maybe not even their own. Accepting that a particular chapter of life is over, can be overwhelming and all-consuming. It’s okay to be overwhelmed or even confused because clarity always comes after you have gone through this roller coaster of emotions. But when going through life, don’t forget to live because of anyone; you owe this much to yourself.

Good one
Very touching. Every day leaves with a learning; moving on with this learning is power. Very well drafted.
Learning from people like you helps in the process 😊
This is beautifully written! Loved it.
Thank you 🙏
Moving on by forgiving and forgetting is much better than moving on with regrets and grief. This is very well written!
Yes, life becomes easy with forgiveness…
